When we started Córdoba & Morales we dreamed of creating a cigar featuring rich aged San Andreas maduro wrapper leaf but highly coveted tobacco like this isn't easy to acquire. When we finally got our hands on these four-year-old leaves, we set out to create a cigar that would live up to the acclaim of this well-aged dark wrapper. The result? The Clave Cubana Etiqueta Blanca or White Label - our follow up to the highly celebrated Clave Cubana Original.
This full-bodied smoke is a Nicaraguan bombshell wrapped in a lush Mexican maduro leaf. The Etiqueta Blanca is not for the faint of heart and will be most enjoyed by the seasoned veteran aficionado, definitely after a nice heavy meal. The smoke is weighty on the palate with balanced flavors of rich dark chocolate, nut, dark roasted coffee, and spice make for a combination similar to a Mexican hot chocolate. Our Platino is probably our most quirky cigar. This is a cigar inside of a cigar and we are not kidding! This is a medium-bodied slow burner with some spice, topped off with a little cream, some earth, and notes of coffee.
